Cookies

The MistyMC website uses very few cookies and minimal browser storage. We don't use third-party advertising trackers. Here's the full list.

What we set

sessionStorage — mistymc:status

Caches the live player count from api.mcstatus.io for 60 seconds so navigating between pages doesn't refetch it. Cleared automatically when you close the tab.

Cloudflare cookies

We use Cloudflare for delivery and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may set cookies like __cf_bm (bot management) for security purposes. These are essential and cannot be disabled while you're using the site. Cloudflare's cookie policy.

What we don't set

• No advertising cookies.
• No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics).
• No social media trackers.
• No cross-site tracking.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. It collects anonymous, aggregated data: page views, referrers, browser type. Nothing about you personally.

Clearing cookies and storage

You can clear cookies and storage at any time via your browser's settings. On most browsers:

• Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data

Do Not Track

We don't use trackers, so DNT signals don't change much for us. Cloudflare honors DNT for its analytics.
