EULA Compliance

MistyMC operates within the terms of Mojang's Minecraft Usage Guidelines and the Minecraft EULA. This document explains what that means in practice.

What we sell

• Cosmetic ranks — chat tags, particle effects, name colors, capes, hats. Visual only.
• Quality-of-life perks — additional /sethome slots, cosmetic kit slots, custom-color nicknames, faster /tpa cooldowns. Not gameplay-affecting in PvP.
• Cosmetic crates — random rolls of cosmetic items.
• Mist Coins — used in the cosmetic shop only.

What we don't sell

• No in-game currency for the Survival economy.
• No items, gear, weapons, kits, or tools.
• No XP boosts that affect competitive ranked PvP.
• No PvP advantages of any kind.
• No "god mode" or invincibility.
• No ability to bypass anti-cheat or moderation.

Why we draw the line here

The Minecraft EULA prohibits selling gameplay advantages. Beyond the legal requirement, we believe pay-to-win servers are bad for everyone — they erode trust, divide the community, and reward whoever spends the most rather than whoever plays best.

Our store funds operating costs (servers, plugins, contracted developers and builders). It does not let players buy their way to the top of any leaderboard.

"Free trials" of paid perks

We may run promotional events that grant temporary access to paid perks (e.g. a 24-hour rank trial). These are clearly disclosed and time-limited. They do not constitute a sale of gameplay advantages.

Currency exchange

Mist Coins (purchased) are not convertible to in-game Survival money or items. They live strictly in the cosmetic shop.

Tournament prizes

Tournament prizes may include cosmetic items, Mist Coins, or — for major events — real-world rewards (gift cards, merchandise) provided by sponsors. Prize value is announced in advance and does not depend on store purchases.

If you believe something on MistyMC violates the Minecraft EULA, email legal@mistymc.xyz. We take EULA compliance seriously and will review reports promptly.
